The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Philippine (AHK) contracted Sachsen Wasser (SaWa) as technical expert to develop and guide two Capacity Building Workshops on wastewater management technology and water efficiency measures in the Philippines, on January 2018 with more than 80 participants.

The National Water and Waste Water Engineering Company targets to strenghten the decentralised waste water management in Iran, based on the pollution of the existent water sources in rural areas. Therefore, the Tehran Sewage Company has seen assigned to manage the construction and commissioning of a demonstration site for 12 decentralised waste water treatment plants, each working under different treatment technology.

Bolivia. Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Tarija, Yacuiba, Bermejo and Oruro. Program for sustainable drinking water supply and sanitation in peri-urban areas (PERIGUA II)
PERIAGUA II, financed by Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), started in July 2016 and is linked to theprevious program PERIAGUA I where SaWa already participated. Until June 2019 the project continues and intensifies the work in the existing subject areas (sub-urban areas of Santa Cruz and Tarija) as well as to expand to other cities (Yacuiba, Bermejo, and Oruro).

The SaWa experts assisted and and advisedduring the preparation and realisation of the "Sustainable waste water workshop", realised in Metro Manilaunder the participation of more than 40 national and international stakeholders. The input as technical support, moderation as well as facilitation of the workshop was oriented within the session B that covers the municipal waste water mangement and swerage solutions.
